How To Attend Online Zoom Classes
-
Step 1: Ensure Your Balance is Sufficient
Before you plan to attend any online class, make sure that your balance is sufficient to cover the cost of the class. You should do this at least an hour before the class begins, as this is when we send out Zoom invites to your email.
How to Check Your Balance and Make a Payment
Login to your Reliatrax account and view your balance or to make a payment OR
visit our Make A Payment Page to make a payment.
Please note, clients who do not have a positive balance sufficient to cover the cost of the class will not receive a Zoom invite and will not be permitted to join the class. Missed classes due to insufficient balance will still be charged to your account, as they occupy slots that could be filled by other clients.
Step 2: Familiarize Yourself with Zoom
If you're new to Zoom, we highly recommend getting comfortable with it before your first class.
How to Test Your Zoom Setup
Visit Zoom's Test Page.
This will initiate a demonstration Zoom meeting to guide you through the functionalities and ensure that your video, audio, and microphones work correctly.

In order to provide a secure, respectful, and conducive learning environment for all participants, we have set the following rules and requirements for attending our online classes:
Payment Rules
Sufficient Balance: Clients must maintain a positive balance sufficient to cover the cost of class at least one hour before the class starts. This allows us time to send class invites via email. Those with insufficient balance will not receive an invite nor be allowed to join the class.
Attendance Rules
Timely Attendance: Clients must join the class before it starts. Late arrivals may not be permitted into the class.
Video and Privacy Rules
Visibility: Per state telehealth regulation, clients must show their faces at all times during the class.
Privacy: Per HIPAA regulations and A Good Life Counseling policies, clients must be alone in the room during the class to maintain client confidentiality and limit distractions.
Behavioral Rules
Focus: Clients must not engage in unrelated activities during the class, such as using their phones, watching TV, listening to music, cooking, eating, or cleaning.
Safety and Confidentiality: Clients cannot be in a moving vehicle during class, as it goes against our policies, violates client confidentiality, and is unsafe.
Posture: Clients must be in an upright position and cannot be lying down during the class.
Appropriate Dress: Clients must be fully clothed and dress as though they were attending the class in person.
Communication Rules
Turn-Taking: Clients will be asked to take turns when speaking.
Mute When Not Speaking: To limit background noise, clients must mute themselves when they are not speaking.
We appreciate your cooperation with these guidelines. Ensuring a respectful and focused online learning environment will contribute to the success of each participant. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact our support team.
